We are a result of the natural progression of music. Starting as The Bill Mattocks Band in 2003 playing Blues and Blues influenced music. After moving to the mountains of Western North Carolina from Seattle in late 2013 and continuing our exploration of music currently we decided to shift our focus to Soul, Funk, R&B and Blues. We also decided since we have a change in direction a new name was in order. Bill Mattocks and The Strut continue on with the same commitment to performing tightly arranged music as in The Bill Mattocks Band. We hope you enjoy our work.
