DAMAGE marked a change to a harder and darker sound for the band that had originally started out as a trio of Keyboardist. With Barbara Moseley taking over on lead vocals the bands new sound was influenced by the sound of bands like Lacuna Coil, The Gathering, Evanescence, Within Temptation and The Dreamside. Anti-M has held on to a slightly more electronic sound with more emphasis on the gothic dark and moody with an occasional leaning toward metal.

“The most distinctive thing about Damage.... is the voice of Barbara Moseley. She can easilty hold her ground with such notable metal maidens as Lotta Höglin (Beseech), Anette Blyckert (Nightwish), and Liv Kristine (Leaves' Eyes, Theatre of Tragedy). She handles a slight majority of the vocal duties on the album, with her best performance coming on the ambient ballad "Deep". The track is keybaord heavy, but Jon Moseley delivers a stirring solo to go along with Barbara's warm vocals. The following track, "Rage", has a distinctly Loreena McKennitt feel to it, with some Middle Eastern styled guitar leads and a mesmerizing, fairly complex solo....”

We don't blog much but we wanted to announce that recording has begun on our new album of covers currently titled PIECES. The album will feature songs by King Crimson, Depeche Mode, Pink Floyd, Delain, Within Temptation, Lacuna Coil, Fur Patrol, Rush, The Fixx and more.
Of course this is the early stage and we only have so much room on the album ...
