ALL SOULS on DECK - Indie-Acoustic, Soulful Folk
All Souls on Deck was a 5-6 piece band based in Fairfield, Iowa. All Souls delivered uplifting Americana covers and the Indie-Acoustic gems for 5 years as a staple of the S.E. Iowa music "scene". 2021 update: Bousquet currently lives in Wilmington, DE near family, and Jordan is at the top of a mountain in North Carolina with her feline undercut, Tigger.
Phoenix Jordan has worked for Disney, Nickelodeon, and Universal Studios. Growing up in a performing arts academy, Phoenix spent her youth studying voice with Russ Faith, a well-loved and admired music teacher in Philadelphia (and cousin of Percy Faith). Phoenix has built her life as a filmmaker, performing arts teacher/ choreographer, and now a singer-songwriter, bringing natural talent in vocal arranging, a gift of a voice, and early experience scoring her own films to All Souls.
Sharon Bousquet is a finger-style guitarist with a penchant for altered tunings, a performing songwriter, a seminar leader for the movement-based singing seminar “The Singing Body”, and a film composer. Sharon has placed songs in two independent films and scored another - the Hollywood feature, "Cosmic Radio". She has 7 albums to her credit, including the 2011 release of “How Spirit Sings”, a CD recorded with Phoenix under their inspirational band name "Beaucoup Shakti".
George Foster is the most working-est, sought-after bassists in the region, performing with such notable acts as Bambu, Skunk River Medicine Show and All Souls on Deck. Known internationally as the award-winning graphic artist and book cover designer at FosterCovers.Com, George's sense of humor, deep groove and horn-like fretless lines were integral to the sound and live performances of All Souls.
Tim Britton is an internationally-acclaimed piper, flute and penny whistle player and a gifted audio engineer and producer. Tim has appeared on television and live radio programs such as A Prairie Home Companion and All Things Considered, Live at Studio One, and many more. As a studio musician, Tim has appeared on over 40 recording sessions in 30+ years as a professional musician.
