He is acknowledged as a real national musical treasure in Romania. In May 2000, AG is leaving Romania for a “cultural exile" in the USA. Upon his arrival he got into the Chicago club circuit – worked for Son Seals, Laurie Bell, Pistol Pete, Chico Banks, Willie Kent & The Gents - then moves to NYC and performs in Decade, Bitter End, Red Lion, Stone Pony.
