I write songs based on the Bible and Christian life experience. I'm inspired by the spirited singing and diverse community at Caldwell Presbyterian Church in Charlotte. So I truly have a singing congregation in mind for these songs. At Caldwell we sing accompanied by piano and an occasional acoustic guitar and bass. The wonderful background mix of instruments and vocals that you hear on this site comes from the genius of Eric Lovell and Gigi Dover's Blu Bubble recording studio. I was raised by a Baptist mom and a Presbyterian dad. As a Presbyterian minister (now retired) I've sung from North Carolina to Arkansas to Central America and back. So you'll hear echoes of church hymnals, bluegrass, country Gospel and even mariachi. So get ready to harmonize, tap your toes and clap your hands. These songs are easy to learn and fun to sing.
