White Light Cemetery is a band based out of South Louisiana. Formed in the winter of 2008 with members hailing from all over North America The only goal is to create a pure and organic sound that naturally happens when the band is in a room together... To form a sound based in tried and true tradition but new and belonging to everyone and no one all at once.

“8CN:What separates this band from all the others in Louisiana?
Paul- Louisiana has a diverse culture, with the french and spanish roots, and everybody knows the NOLA scene, bands like Down, EyeHateGod, Crowbar, Goatwhore. These bands are drastically different from each other but they share the Louisiana sound….White Light Cemetery has a lot of Nola influence going on, but we pull from a lot of other areas as well and i feel we have managed to incorporate that sound with our other influences very well. There is stuff from all over in it, but if you wanted to nitpick all this evil blues started with Robert Johnson et al. in the 30s anyways, so right back to the Mississippi delta.
