Voice Of The Vortex

Voice of the Vortex is an experimental metal project. The idea behind it is to combine many different elements that aren't too often combined, in a format that's very unusual for heavy music - there are no guitars. The "regular" lineup consists of bass, drums, and a dual frontline of vocals (gruff male + clean female vocals). I'm going for something unique. The last thing I want is to conform to pre-existing molds and expectations. The music combines funk, latin, avant-rock, death metal, and classical. My passion is finding ways to express my eclectic tastes through songwriting, mixing and matching influences like a mad scientist. [[[-- The song posted here has not gone through its final mix.
