The latest artistic collaboration between two friends, Try/Catch has been gearing up to deliver a much-needed dose of original sonic bliss to the fine citizens of State College and beyond. This unique duo, Horst and Sean, have been around the block more than once and draw upon their unique life experiences to produce a sound that equally makes your head bop, puts a smile on your face, and makes you curious for what may lie ahead. Just two members and two instruments - yet the final product is rich, full, and free of formula. Drawing influence from Sonic Youth to Yes, Modest Mouse to Fugazi, Built to Spill to Yo La Tengo, the band crafts pieces that ebb and flow, stutter and stall, build and release.
