Third World Sun

We're Third World Sun, the band with something to say! Risen from the ashes of Launch Pad after the band's lead vocalist and co-founder, Lori Carhart (LoRaeMe), passed away from an unexpected and devastating stroke. Launch Pad co-founder Paul Carhart (Lori's husband) and Launch Pad guitarist Scott Johnson formed Third World Sun shortly thereafter, enlisting former Launch Pad drummer, MIke Driml a week later. The three re-clicked immediately, writing new material within the first week and played their first gig as Third World Sun less than two months after forming. The band has played out at least once a month every month since.
