The Waveriders

The Waveriders are a three piece band that plays amazingly danceable surf-flavored instrumentals, bringing a cool retro vibe with a modern twist that people connect with. What differentiates us from other surf bands is that in addition to playing surf classics like Miserlou, Wipeout, and California Sun, we also put a surf spin on rock and pop songs such as Bad Romance, Whip It, and I Ran, making us a unique and fun change of pace from the everyday cover band! The Waveriders provide a visual experience as well with two incredible go-go dancers, and streaming surf and 60s beach movie clips on a huge screen behind us as we perform, while only requiring the same space as a 4 piece cover band. All of this works together to energize any crowd and keep them on the dance floor all night long! As individuals, Sean, Chris, and Craig have played everywhere from the beaches of Hawaii and California, to the clubs of Toronto, Boston and NYC. As a band The Waveriders have hit the Boston music scene playing some great bars in and around the city plus drag clubs, wedding cocktail hours, upscale Halloween parties, and are the house band for the annual Great Burlesque Exposition.
