The Velvet Pancakes

The Velvet Pancakes are a Minneapolis based ensemble featuring Singer/Songwriter-Brian Edblad on vocals,sax, and guitar, Tommy Stevens on the trumpet, Liam McNally on bass and John May on drums,with guitarists Michael LaSusa and Andy Benham rounding out the lineup. They've mixed up a batch of sweet grooves combining bluesy sax, screaming trumpet with electrifying guitar and catchy lyrics with lush harmonies. Throw in a little punk with a touch of rockabilly and topped it off with some acoustic guitar. The Pancakes have created a sound that is uniquely their own. They have just finished their latest recording project " Baby In My Dreams" and are playing gigs around the metro area.
