THE THANES

The Thanes have been making garage punk 60s beat noises for more than 25 years, with a clutch of 45s LPs CDs on release on a variety of record labels around the globe. The Thanes have recently appeared live in Greece at the Tiki Bar in Athens and Stage Club, Larisa. They have also played shows throughout their long and illustrious career with the likes of 60s legends The Sonics, ? and the Mysterians, The Remains, and The Beatstalkers. The Thanes also had the pleasure of joining forces with George Gallacher and Fraser Watson to once again play the music of Glasgow 60s beat group legends The Poets! This only lasted a short time from 2010-2012 (RIP George Gallacher Aug 2012) Look out for new records by The Thanes in summer and autumn 2011... 2013 ...and now there's even more to come during winter 2017 O yeah!
