The Shelbi Vinyl

The Shelbi Vinyl was forged by the hearts and souls longtime Denton, TX musicians Taylor Moseley, Kyle Ryan, and Trent Reeves. Moseley and Reeves played for about a year together in their youth years in project, &boy, in 2003-2004. The two ran across one another at the local music festival the 35conferette in March 2011 and decided it was time to work on a new project. Two months later the two would hammer out a new sound which would soon become The Shelbi Vinyl. Along their creative path the picked up long term songwriter, Kyle Ryan. Together Moseley, Ryan, and Reeves would collaborate to release their first self produced EP "The Summer of Discontent" late June of 2011.The trio creates a powerful and moving sound through the members ambition to take their careers to a professional level after working, struggling, and trying for many years.
