On 4/24 through 4/26 people around the globe will celebrate the 60th birthday of political prisoner MUMIA ABU-JAMAL while demanding his freedom. In NYC at Riverside Church on Thursday the 24th from 6:30 - 9:30 pm, many celebrated speakers and artists will make some very revolutionary statements in the face of this ongoing struggle for justice. The list of speakers has not yet been finalized but the live music will include the Liberation Jazz of THE RED MICROPHONE -8PM, and several noted radical Hip Hop artists SQUALA ORPHAN the LC POET at 8:15. INTIKANA at 8:45, and of course REBEL DIAZ at 9pm. And the show ends with a big jam session of all performers. Mumia himself is expected to call in to speak to us all at 7:30.
