Lead singer, song writer and second guitar player for The Names whose 1977 single "Why Can't It Be" b/w "Baby You're A Fool earned them a viable position in powerpop history. The Names also wrote the original music and acted in the 1980 Don Edmunds directed rock horror cult classic film Terror On Tour. They were included in the Rhino Records compilation, come out and play american powerpop 1 (1975 - 78) The Names single mentioned as one of the top 30 power pop singles of all time in Shake Some Action The Ultimate Power Pop Guide by John M. Borack (because of the"hilariously melodramatic cover" and Baby You're A Fool the b-side) written by David Galluzzo. After raising a family and a 25 year hiatus from the music business, I have recently begun to write again mostly for my own amusement. All songs are written, arranged, recorded, played, hummed & sung,(mostly all first takes) and sometimes murdered by Dave Galluzzo. All songs recorded using the now infamous $3.00 computer pencil mic, half a drum kit, a P-Bass and an assortment of guitars, knees, etc. I hope you will find some pleasure in my imperfections...so have fun and feel free to shake your wellbutrin bottles along with the songs!
