05.11.2013: THE LETYOUDOWNS split up 2 months ago for several reasons. Many thanks to everybody who likes and supported us!!!!!! It started as a cry, a cry for mercy.... Rock´n Roll was ripped from its chore, chewed up by industry hyenas to be institutionalized and distributed to those who are willing to flog out the cash to be en vogue, the hipsters and mindless followers of “Captain Mammon”… So we all cried out - “No one can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both, Rock´n Roll and mammon." And finally the cry was heard. 4 disciples of the true sounds of wickedness got together to reveal the truth behind it all. The real thing. THE LETYOUDOWNS… Cause that’s what Rock´n Roll is, and has been all along. Promising the world, and giving you fuck all.. No revelation, no eternal live… Not even enough cash to feed the flock of guinea pigs you bought for your kids to ease the burden of boredom in this computerized society of western civilization… a true and utter LET DOWN… No rules, no talent, but a lot of raw energy to preach to the converted, to mindlessly provoke irrational twitches to parts of your body you did not know they exist… Loveless torturers of your battered souls to harden you up for reality. Nothing is certain, nothing is for real, but the LetYouDowns sure know how to beef up your spirits, suck you in and spit you out, leave you behind, deliriously happy.. if you let them… So be prepared. Don´t count on The LetYouDowns, don´t lose your soul to the drums of bewilderment, cause they will count you out……. They are here, they are amongst us, for good… and they will surely LET YOU DOWN…..
