The Broadway Flyer

Chuck Clawson is a veteran of several Denver bands, most recently the long-running pop rock outfit he began in 2002 called Monkey Child. After deciding to end Monkey Child he began an Americana based solo project that has since morphed into the new band - The Broadway Flyer. The Flyer made its club debut in September 2009, but a series of personnel changes convinced him to limit the Flyer to very occasional gigs and concentrate on recording instead. The Americana solo project was reborn, and the recordings posted here are an aural record of Chuck's progress as a recordist and sound engineer as well as a musician and writer. Chuck is now happily collaborating with Ed Bonham on drums for the 'stage ready' live version of the band. Michael Case joined the band in July 2010 as a keyboardist, guitarist, vocalist and writer. Look for announcements of Broadway Flyer gigs in the very near future. This is gonna be good...
