The Black Shades

When The Black Shades formed in 2010, all of their mothers covered their eyes. Music was sung and played, like bands do, and a rabid following emerged. Multiple Shades’ EP’s have taken the college radio world by storm and every song a testament to everything you forgot you loved about rock. They have toured relentlessly in the US & Canada, at SXSW, CMJ Music marathon, at various notable venues and any living room or basement anywhere whose neighbors could stand the noise. With songs that are catchy and performances that are electrifying, The Black Shades have an image and sound akin to that of a 66 Corvette plowing through a field of crazed buffalo, taking a sharp right at your mom’s house and eventually flying over the Grand Canyon in blaze of rock and roll glory.
