Sue Quigley

Raised in the nuclear plains of Eastern Washington,Sue stole her sister's guitar (abandoned for boys) at 13 and started writing songs about Blacksheep-ness and getting out (in more ways than one). Through college,fighting forest fires and deciding on a path,she began playing open mics and a band in a biker bar in Bellingham made the path forward very clear.She has performed at at the HardRock,Tractor Tavern,Crocodile Cafe,Bitter End in NYC ,FolkLife and for 6,000 Seattle Storm fans as halftime entertainment, She has been featured in"Rockrgrl" festival,Chicksinger Nite @NYC and Indie Showcase in Nashville and many music venues throughout the NorthWest. She has shared the stage with Brandi Carlile,Vicci Martinez,and Sera Cahoone. Outside of the Great Specific NorthWest, Sue has played the Viper Room in Hollywood ,showcased twice at SXSW in Austin,TX,Nashville and solo- toured the West Coast and Ireland in support of her 2nd cd "Perfect Chaos". The single "Paper Tiger"was Runner Up for Song of the Year (Songoftheyear.com ). She most recently was one of the Semi-Finalists in the "TourPossible" contest, as well as being placed in the inaugural "Upstream Fest" in Seattle this summer. Her 3rd album, "Little Wildernesses' was recorded at the historic London Bridge studio (Pearl Jam,Soundgarden,macklemore, Brandi Carlile) with the talents of local stand-outs Kris Orlowski,Heather Thomas,Jen Ayers,Kristy Smith and produced by Jonathan Plum. After a lot of life happened, the seeds germinating for these new songs came forth. Sue is grateful to all who helped make it happen and hopes that we all can find The "path of the inside spark- the light that eats up the dark...'" finally "standing in our my truth"-
