Spiral of Silence (SPOS)

SPOS was founded in 1991 and released classic coldwave albums like LEAP (1998) and dEcAdEnT (2002). They are often described as "the Belgian Joy Division". Spiral of Silence (B) played with bands such as Gary Numan, Echo & the Bunnymen, Cranes, Front 242, Chameleons, Das Ich, Xymox, The Creatures, DAF, Nina Hagen, etc. Their music is often described as post-punk wave or coldwave. Spiral Of Silence (and Theatre Of Pain)'s nucleus always consisted of Tom Van Troyen (vocals, bass), Gert Moerenhout (Guitar) and Achiel Keppens (drums). Other contributing members were Johan Gies, Bart Auwaerts (RIP), Jenny Dedoncker, Jeroen Nuyts and Bart Callaerts.
