Sol Edler

A little Luther Vandross, some Sam Cooke, a bit of Donny Hathaway, and You'll get something that sounds like Sol! Troy "Sol" Edler, a native Washingtonian, grew up singing in church with his mom and listening to his dads old soul records and after a whole lot of choir-singing and open mics, he broke loose and went at it solo. Since then, he's released his debut cd, "Song of Solomon, Book I", produced by Reg Jones & Kutimack of Zwei/BolaMarge Ent. and has hit the stage with dozens of artists from Mint Condition, to Eric Roberson, to Lalah Hathaway, and many more. Currently, he performs supporting vocals for several artists including Maysa, Phil Perry, Syleena Johnson, & the a capella group, Reverb. Sol's sophomore cd, entitled "Upfront", with Producer/jazz percussionist Ernest "EC3" Coleman & Rhythm Universal Records is currently available on all digital download forums.
