Seawalker
SEAWALKER was founded in Belo Horizonte (Brazil) in 2008 by the bassist and vocalist Filipe Duarte, who soon called the drummer Ricardo Linassi to join the team. Since from the very beginning, the purpose of Seawalker would be to perform an unlabeled Heavy Metal, but with common influences on both musicians, such as Metallica, Rage, Slayer, Megadeth, Nevermore, among others. In 2009, the band entered Studio to Record their debut album with guest appearances from the guitarists: Reinaldo Figueiredo and Gustavo Colen and on the following year of 2010, the band finished the recording process. The release is due to 2011. At the moment, SEAWALKER has on its lineup: Guilherme Costa and Renato Lara both highly graded guitarists. All the four members have large experience on the Brazilian metal scene. 2012 plans include performing as many gigs as possible, all over Brazil. EARTHCODE was the name chosen to baptize the album. It was produced by Alan Wallace and André Marcio. Their experience has fully contributed to the album´s amazing soundings. With a diverse approach, the lyrics speak out on wars, terrorism, violence and personal views from Filipe Duarte, Who wrote all lyrics on the album. The song Stumble has a “Green approach”, discussing about environmental issues like: Animals extinction, the burning of the rainforests, global warming, etc.
