Satirah

Satirah is an American soul jazz and R&B performer with a powerful, sultry three octave range. A South Carolina native, she was raised in the small, quaint town of Ridgeville. She sang on her church choir as a young girl. “As a child, I was very shy and did not say much, but realized what an enormous, captivating sound there was that bolted out when I sang.” During her college years, Satirah joined a band, “The Reason Why” that performed in Columbia, SC at numerous events. After earning her degree in Journalism and Mass Communications, Satirah began to pursue her music career in Atlanta, GA. In 2008, she co-starred in the stageplay, “Enough is Enough” and received rave reviews for her singing and acting performances. In 2013, Satirah performed for the first time in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and was the #1 Jazz Performer in Abu Dhabi on the Reverbnation charts in 2013 and 2014. In addition to singing, she is a songwriter now working on writing songs to produce her first album. “Just give me a track and I can write a song to it, a divine gift I will never be able to fully explain.” After returning to the United States in July 2014, Satirah continues to perform at various venues as well as cruise ships and private events.
