

Sam Capolongo
Born in Seoul, South Korea, Samuel Alexander Capolongo was adopted very early by his American parents, Fred and Susan. He grew up in Montgomery (Princeton), New Jersey, attending the Montgomery Township school district through high school. Capolongo learned guitar at twelve years old and began writing shortly after. His influences included classic rock artists such as Bruce Springsteen and post-grunge bands like Green Day and 3 Doors Down. Minor projects were recorded in his father's home studio, however most of his work was not kept. In February of 2013, Capolongo released the EP This is Heaven, in dedication to Capolongo’s late grandparents. It was sold to benefit Stand Up to Cancer, a non-profit cancer research organization. Capolongo released his finest work yet, All That We Live For, on January 21, 2014. This 13-track record displayed sounds ranging from soft acoustic to pop-punk rock. All of Sam Capolongo's original music can be found on iTunes, Spotify, and SoundCloud. Currently, Capolongo is attending the University of Delaware as a Chemistry major and Nutrition minor. He is playing both solo and acoustic duo gigs at various bars and restaurants in the Newark and Wilmington, DE area. Associated acts include Lately, Sam has been devoting most of his musical energy to a solo cover performance at various bars and restaurants in the Newark, DE area. He is quickly becoming a recognized music act of the region and expanding his performance venues to Dewey Beach, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. Capolongo has recently become a member of an acoustic duo group called Zodiac Jack. Other rotating members include AJ Jesson, Craig Koch, and Anthony Sophy. Sam Capolongo intends on pursuing music full time after graduating in the spring of 2017.
