Sal and Isela con Los Salerosos

Sal and Isela is a husband-and-wife duet from Lake Elsinore, CA. Their music is a mixture of traditional folkloric elements from South of the Border with contemporary folk, Americana, and pop arrangements. They describe their music as Mexicanized-American (Americanized-Mexican) music. Since their formation in 2006, Sal and Isela have performed throughout Southern California and the Central Coast. They have been enthusiastically received in venues such as The Experimental Café (Oxnard), The Fox Theatre (Redlands), The Cocky Bull (Victorville), The Royal Dive (Oceanside) and The Plum House (Riverside). They have twice been named as finalists in the So Cal Acoustic Music Competition (2008, 2009) and their songs have been played on popular internet radio stations Radio Free Bakersfield and Flat Cat Radio. You can catch them live playing gigs around the Inland Empire with their band Los Salerosos. Their self-titled cd was released on May 14, 2010, pick up a copy at their next show!
