Ruthtrumpets / Mahealane

Ruth made her journey from the rural midwest to the vibrant, artist epicenter that is Los Angeles. She released her first song as a singer-songwriter, "Hopeful Romantic" April 2020. The song features her flugelhorn playing as well as her mix of pop, r&b, jazz influences. Ruth's artist name Mahealane is her middle name and represents her connection with the full moon, Hawaii, and a desire to spread calm vibes in a chaotic world. She freelances with various groups around Los Angeles. Ruth has toured with Grammy-winning group, Flor De Toloache and hip-hop/funk band, Urban Renewal Project. In addition to touring, performing, recording and writing she is the VP and A&R for Fire Tower Entertainment. She is also the Director of Communications for Clare Fischer Productions and PA to Brent Fischer.
