Rock Candy was formed in the winter of 2011 after a long and arduous search for female musicians in the Cincinnati area who have similar musical styles. We decided that since there were no all female rock bands in the Cincinnati area at the time, we would have to step up. We wanted to do something different and not to be your "normal" chick band, which is the kiss of death for any female band. We wanted to be a rock band that just happened to be made up of chicks.
