I was a roadie for Gentle Giant on the Civilian tour. Keyboardist Kerry Minear was very supportive and inspired me to pursue a career using my ears. I enrolled in music school... first Berklee, and then New England Conservatory studying bass performance. My buddy Hugh Ferguson invited me out to Los Angeles to play in a fusion band. That was a catastrophically bad idea in terms of financial stability, however it was there that I discovered my love for sound and recording. So I began a career working "behind the glass", recording bands and producing sound for TV & movies.
I got a gig in post production sound on the TV show Law & Order and continued on to a moderately successful career in sound design for TV and film. That keeps me in touch with the most recent gear, and subsidizes my love for creating music.
I believe in music as a means to foster social change & heal the planet ✌🏼❤️ 🎵
