Red Audio
We started playing together in summer of 2009. We started as an open mic wednesday project. We soon realized our potential and started covering our favorite rock songs by Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, AC/DC, Motorhead, Nirvana, NIN, Weezer, The Strokes, The White Stripes, Billy idol, Black Sabbath, and a bunch of others. We wanted to learn the hardest songs to cover, and we wanted to play them exactly how they're supposed to be played. Soon after, we realized we were ready to start writing songs and to further explore our talents to develop our own sound. From 2010 to 2012 we worked to establish ourselves in southern WV. We set out to be a weekend rock band and started making some $$ with our 3-4 hour set of covers and originals (as of right now, we have 8). We record with our own 16 track recording console and have a 5-song demo cd for $3 and we are working on our debut LP. The musical conversation of Red Audio consists of various elements; Scott holds down a solid, power grooves while Jeremy fills out the fuzzy low end bass and ellaborates with a Korg synthesizer, utilizing various complicated tones, blips, and weird noises. To finish it off, Jett lays down punchy melodies with blistering guitar rock and soul riffs and pitch shifting solos, while pouring burning emotion into senseless catchy lyrics. We decided to call this fusion of styles, emotions, and ideas ELECTROGARAGEROCK. Our motto "We'll play anywhere once."
