Engaging. Dynamic. Infectious. These are a few of the words that can only begin to describe the energy that Pop/Urban Rock Artist Phoenix~Lei radiates from the studio to the stage. Born with the blessing of vocal talent, Phoenix~Lei was recognized as having significant musical acumen as early as four years old and as a product of Rocky Mount, North Carolina her muse was further documented by recognition in her hometown newspaper for her singing abilities at the tender age of seven. Accomplished in multiple musical arenas, Phoenix~Lei’s “first love” was piano, and then alto-sax from elementary school through high school. She was active in the church choir, while also being a member in marching and concert bands through college. Phoenix~Lei is as gifted academically as musically as she double-majored in Biology and Spanish (she is bilingual and of Dominican heritage) at NC State University. However, her passion for performing overwhelmed her academic aspirations. A Business Mogul in the making, Ms. Lei is the owner of her very own specialty Timepiece Boutique & Co-Owner of Scarlet Myth Cosmetics, a Cosmetic line devoted to charitable causes. As a reflection of her reputation as a superior chanteuse, Phoenix~Lei's talent has been consistently in-demand at marquis events from Virginia to Georgia. Phoenix~Lei has shared the stage with the "Who’s Who" of artists such as Midnight Star, The Ohio Players, Bobby Valentino, Carl Thomas, Chrisette Michelle, and the legendary Doug E. Fresh to name a few. Her electric performances have been witnessed in venues as intimate as corner cafe's, and as grand as theatres. With dedication, limitless energy, and a fresh focus on her recording career, Phoenix~Lei has the talent, foundation, and intangibles that only the rarest of stars even dream of.
