BEING A MUSICIAN:On a bad day its not so bad.ON A GOOD ONE IT'S BETTER THAN THE BEST. A symultaneous singer songwriter,guitarist,harmonica player,foot drummer,from layed back and thought provoking to foot stomping dance provoking.I play my music in venues,festivals and streets all over the North West.Inspired by Roots Blues, expressing my views and the dancing shoes of all of yous. Places I have played; Solfest, Brampton Live, Sedbergh folkfest,Thornhill Blues Festival, Zeffirellis Jazz Bar Ambleside, The Brewery Arts Centre Kendal, The Platform Morecambe and the Carnegie Hall Workington. The Streets of many towns and cities; Glasgow, Newcastle,Manchester,Carlisle,Lancaster,Kendal,Keswick, Darlington,Penrith,Workington,Wigton,Vancouver and Dijon. Artists I have played support for; Geno Washington,Rory Mcleod, Rod Clements(lindisfarne),King King and It Bites! Artists I cover songs by Little Walter,Muddy Waters,Bo Diddley,Sonny Boy Williamson,T-bone Walker,Jimmy Reed,The Rolling Stones,Taj Mahal,Canned Heat,Richard Thompson and AC/DC........etc Much of my performing is on the street. I always get a positive response from passers-by, with outbreaks of daytime dancing. People of all ages and backgrounds ask about my music, my equipment, my gigs and directions to the music shop. .....on stage I will talk to an audience, amuse and bemuse them skillfully avoiding requests and demanding vocal participation.
