Oridjinns is a unique three piece band hailing from Kalamazoo, Michigan. Use of their classically trained back ground mixed with a love for hip - hop, funk and the distorted guitar create their abstract sound. A sound described as Incubus meets Mos Def, fused with funk and jazz progressions.

“The tasty hi-hat and indieriffic guitar meanderings are a perfect compliment for Oridjinns’ bass and hip-hop vocal grooves – imagine if Incubus had stopped at S.C.I.E.N.C.E., complete with dreadlocks intact – and the vibe is pleasantly loose even when the guitars are grinding away. The material is solid, though the mix of the recording is uneven/unfocused and could probably do better at showing off of the talents of the band. Luckily, the songs and musicianship come through well enough, bringing back a style that was sadly overshadowed by nu-metal back in the day. ”
