ORDOG

ORDOG is a word of Scandinavian origin, used to represent the forces of darkness and all evil was happening in the area of the Carpathians. The band was formed in Bogota in mid-June 2003. retaining the classic lineup of three members, Guitar (Anibal Lopez), Bass-Voice (Jean Pierre Guzman), Battery (Osman Castiblanco), which went through some bands of the city as Zarkany and Vlad spectrum. The band's musical scheme then is a mixture of genres like Black, Thrash and Death Metal without leaving the fury and the main essence of true metal, which is reflected in their lyrics that are completely dark and blasphemous giving a concept of total Black Metal. At the end of that year began a series of concerts in the city with bands of a certain path. In early 2004 began demo recording of their debut CD in the Rock studies called BLASPHEMY AND HATE, which contains 6 tracks of pure black metal. After recording and during that year there were several concerts in Bogotá and Soacha making known the material of the band in late 2004 ORDOG recorded his professional video clip of the track format Nocturnal Ceremony and with the collaboration of University Gran Colombia, due to internal problems between the band members is decided after the editing of the video stop work of the band. During this period the members are part of some musical projects in Bogota scene such as: War Cult Supremacy, Mysticism (Anibal Lopez) and Eternal Lament, Black Devotion , Inhumacion (Jean Pierre). After 4 years of work and then stopped to fix the problems presented Anibal Jean Pierre and the band decided to continue with the collaboration of a new member on drums, Octavio Sanchez bands drummer Sursum Corda and Sobibor who participated in several concerts of the band and recording 2 new songs which were used to promote the new sound of the band including a bonus track on re-mastered edition of the band's first demo (Blasphemy and hate) produced by the following record labels: - SALUTE RECORDS (Sweden): CD edition 100 copies - DEATH'S HEAD RECORDS (USA) CD edition 100 copies - RUNENSTEIN RECORDS (Germany): edition 66 copies cassette format In July 2011 Octavio leaves the band and is replaced by Ivan DeAvila who continued with the writing process and who also collaborated with some presentations and commitments until August 2012 at which time he was expelled from the band. Ordog currently has the support of one of the best drummers in the country, Sander Bermudez who is helped re structure and focus the band's musical concept to the final and total Death Metal, which is why the work of the band during the first half of 2013 will be devoted exclusively to the recording of our work mentioned "Burnt Alive" which is being produced in the Soundtech studios under the engineering same Sander and which will be released this year to commemorate the 10 years of existence of the band presenting a new sound stronger and faster with more focused and real lyrical leaving some ideological fanaticism that characterizes most bands of this genre but while remaining dark and blasphemous.
