Narcoleptica

Narcoleptica’s performance starts from experimentation, mixing sound sources (traditional instruments and VST, programming, phonography and voice) and Live-Looping (recording loops in real-time). These elements are assembled into a sonic layering experience. Narcoleptica is an experimental electroacoustic musical project (= Beatriz Vaca making noise). She has released two albums: ‘The Modular Explanation’ and ‘Narcoleptica’; and is working on her new one, ‘The Abyss’. She also appears in several compilations, soundtracks and Performing Art / Experimental Theatre pieces (in which usually performs live). Since 2007, she has been playing live incessantly in a great amount of venues and festivals worldwide, being live performance her best expression. Narcoleptica creates sound spaces to inhabit, where the listener can choose to follow one or another vanishing point, into really intense, evocative and emotional atmospheres.
