Nandini Srikar

Nandini Srikar is an Indian born Singer, Composer, Producer and Guitar Player. A very versatile musician, she very easily blends the South-indian Carnatic, the north indian Hindustani musical styles and the Western styles and harmonies in her singing and Production/Programming skills. Her vocal collaborations and live performances with Trilok Gurtu, Wally Badarou, Shri and DJ badmarsh, Richard Bona, Ranjit Barot, Lesle Lewis, Ashutosh Phatak & Dhruv Ghanekar, Sanjay Divecha make her an avante garde Indian singer. She has also performed live with R. Prasanna, David Gilmore, Rodney Holmes, Mike Pope, Rubens de la Corte, Jason Lindner, Magos Herrera, Panagiotis Andreou, Alex Kautz. Her collaboration with Mahmood Khan on his album ‘Panah’ was released by Magnasound in 2001. She has prominently made her mark as a composer/producer in the Ad-film scene with her memorable jingles and scores for several Indian and International major brands. Besides singing and producing, she also specializes in vocal harmonies’ arrangements. After many years of collaborations with various artistes, she has released her first album as a singer/ songwriter/composer/ producer/arranger- ‘Beete pal’ , featuring artistes like Kai Eckhardt (bass), Michael Pope (bass), Atma Anur (drums), Guitar Prasanna (guitar), Ed DeGenaro (guitar), Steve Zerlin (bass), Sanjay Divecha (guitar), Marc Layton-Bennett (drums) and Vivek Rajagopalan (kanjira). Currently she is making waves in Bollywood with the critically acclaimed song 'Bhare Naina' from Ra.One and the hit 'Dil Mera Muft Ka' from Agent Vinod. She has also been invited to perform on Coke Studio @MTV Season 2.
