Mystical Vision

Formed within the dark and vast Amazon forest in the end of the thrash metal's golden decade, in 1987 Mystical Vision starts its history bringing on initial formation Marcelo Sanches (bass / vocals), Kiko (drums), Silas Alves (guitars) and Fábio Andrey (ex. Insanity / The Mist – guitars /vocals). With the departure of Fábio Andrey in 1989, Alexandre Rodrigues assumes the guitars and the band releases its first demo tape in 1990 entitled "The Blind Man's buff". In 1991 when Alexandre Rodrigues, the band gains reinforcements with Fred Magno (guitars) and Eduardo Correa (vocals) stabilizing the band's formation, when the official demo tape "Take it easy" is released. On the same year the band was invited by Whiplash Records from Natal / RN to release an EP with 2 songs that would be called "Abolition of Reason", but unfortunately with the passing of the label's owner (Luciano), the record label was closed. In 1994 Eduardo Correa leaves the band and Mystical Vision stabilizes as a quartet, as Marcelo Sanches was now responsible for the vocals. In 1995 the band was invited by Rock Shop (Fortaleza – Ceará) to participate in the Dorsal Atlântica's tribute cd ( Omnisciens), besides great names of Brazilian metal like Avalon, Genocídio, Headhunter D.C., Insanity, Jack Daniels and others. The band went to Sao Paulo to record the track Tortura, at the Mr. Som Studio, with the participation of Pompeu from Korzus. During the days in SP the band recorded the tracks to the following demo tape called "Chaosterror", with the participation of Heros Trench, Marcelo Pompeu and Silvio Golfetti from Korzus. In 1999 the band performs its last show at War Zone Club (Hell's Angel's club – Manaus), with the participation of Rodrigo Moska (Jarakillers/Nekrost) on the guitars besides Silas Alves. During this eleven years of activities Mystical Vision has played together with great names in metal such as Dorsal Atlântica, MX, and almost opened for King Diamond and Paul Di'Anno. In 2011, after 12 years incubated, Mystical Vision initiates the new year with the production of its debut cd "Alchemy of Chaos", bringing a powerful and aggressive thrash metal, according to its 80's roots, as long as hardcore and death metal influences, like: Destruction, Slayer, Kreator, Sodom, Napalm Death, Extreme Noise Terror, MX,, Korzus, Attomica, Sarcófago, Onslaught, Venom, Sick of it all, DRI, Agnostic Front, Morbid Angel, Nuclear assault, Exodus among others. The cd is being produced by the producer Eduardo Guerra, from Vektor Music - Manaus - Brazil. On the actual line-up the founding bassist and singer Marcelo Sanches has Carlos Mota and Silas Jr. on the guitars and Eduardo Fiuza(Sleeping Awake, ex-Darkside) on the command of the drum kit.
