I will be presenting some of my research on the mating system of the Veery (Catharus fuscescens), a poorly-known migratory songbird...and I will most likely be playing a song or two about birds! The event is free and open to the public.

She had her first number 1 hit as a songwriter in 1960 at age 18, with "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" and has inspired many female singer/songwriters for the past 50 years. King has made 25 solo albums, the most successful being Tapestry which held the record for most weeks at #1 by a female artist for more than 20 years. She has won four Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for her songwriting.
