"2014: a backspace odyssey" presented by McGuireWoods LLP. Backspace formed in 2007 as a group of like-minded professionals who wanted to make life a little more fun. Their annual show is a themed one-time only performance. On Saturday, December 6th, Backspace will take you through space and time on an odyssey into the music explosion of the 1960s. In Act I, hop into your VW and travel across the country: the San Francisco scene to LA pop, down through the swamps of Louisiana and into the soul of Alabama, and finally on to Nashville before hopping across the pond for the British Invasion. Act II is Beatlemania. Dance and sing your way through the Beatles' catalog, starting with their first appearance on the Ed Sullivan show all the way through Let it Be. Ticket sales benefit Camp Young Judaea - The Friends Fund that provides for summer camp scholarships. All ages welcome. No opening act. Feel free to dress in your 60s gear for this rockin' good show!
