I consider myself first and foremost a songwriter, but I also enjoy singing and performing my original music when opportunities arise. However, getting my music "out there" remains my main priority. I have been blessed to have a supportive husband and family who have made it possible for me to continue to actively pursue this crazy dream despite financial challenges. As part of the process toward my bigger goal, I realize how important it is to always strive to be better and have sought out opportunities to grow in my craft through participation in online communities (NSAI, Songtown, NETN and SongU) and attendance at workshops (locally, online and in Nashville). I have also begun getting "out there" by making more frequent trips to Nashville to meet with publishers and start the all important process of networking. I just want to say thank you to all who have taken time out to listen and show support and want you to know that I am grateful for your kind words of encouragement; it really means a lot especially during those times of doubt when you question....am I really good enough? Well anyway. Thanks so much again...and hopefully my first cut is on the horizon;)
