Love Button

Love Button first joined together in Oklahoma City in 1992, where they played a "Violent Femmes" style of folk punk on the streets of Deep Ellum in Dallas and Campus Corner in Norman, OK. For 6 years the band developed and changed in styles, growing a loyal following in the clubs of Norman and OKC, as well as playing throughout Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, and New Mexico. They released two full-length albums and one EP. They broke up in 1998, but returned for a reunion show in 2002, playing an average of a show a year since. They are currently working on a new album, containing many of the songs the band never had a chance to record during the late '90s. Their '95 CD release, 17 Cleverly Disguised Songs About Smack, has currently been re-released by Sprockett Records, at www.sprockettrecords.com, where you can listen to samples of all the songs.
