In the past 9 months, LisaBeth has written nearly 50 new songs which has been a record for her, no pun intended. Her latest CD, THE FIRE TOWER SESSIONS, was produced and engineered by Grammy maker, BIL VORNDICK (Ralph Stanley, Bela Fleck, Alison Krauss). She has opened shows for Nanci Griffith, Ralph Stanley, Dave Grisman, Roy Clark, and over 50 others, including Bill Clinton at a political rally, as well as appearing live on WXPN with Michaela Majoun, Gene Shay, and Kathy O'Connell. In addition, two of LisaBeth's songs have been featured on NPR’s CARTALK. Most recently, LisaBeth's original song, "TROUBLE MAN" was chosen as a top ten favorite of 2011 on WXPN by on air host Chuck Elliott. She wrote the song during Hurricane Irene in tribute to the electrical crews that work in dangerous storm conditions. In the summer of 2011, LisaBeth was invited by the band Blackberry Winter, (the musicians from the Oscar nominated film Winter’s Bone) to join them on stage and sing one of her original songs with them backing her at their NYC and Philadelphia gigs during their national tour. Most recently, LisaBeth was chosen to be a 2012 showcase artist at the NERFA (Northeast Regional Folk Alliance Conference) in Washington, DC. This Renaissance woman from New Hope, Pennsylvania has also launched creativebizhub.com. Specializing in creative biz strategy and nationally recognized for her work, LisaBeth has extended her experience in the creative arts in conjunction with the corporate, non-profit, entertainment, and political worlds to show companies and organizations how to use creativity in their overall strategy to bring business in and boost the bottom line. As a musician and performer, LisaBeth is taking her comfort level on the stage into launching speaker presentations and workshops to businesses and organizations of all sizes. LisaBeth is also known for her popular and unique handmade CAUSE PINS. Her pins have been seen on the lapels of Hillary Clinton, Gloria Steinem, Madeleine Albright, Rosalyn Carter, Mia Farrow, and many more. In 2008, LisaBeth was selected by the office of Congressman Patrick Murphy to create an ornament for the WHITE HOUSE CHRISTMAS TREE, and she was invited to the White House for an artist reception. Her freelance writing work has included national magazine articles, copywriting, and web content. She was a Theater Manager in her 6th year at the 2011 SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL, was a guest blogger from Sundance for nbcphiladelphia.com, and worked in Filmmaker Guest Services at the Philadelphia Film Festival for 7 years. LisaBeth serves on the Board of Directors of the Women's Business Forum, is a cancer survivor, has completed four walking marathons for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society, and has spent time doing volunteer writing for the National Search Dog Foundation.
