After almost a year in the womb of a Glen Ellyn basement, the Chicago group Lions and Lanterns is ready for birth. This indie rock ensemble incorporates a myriad of influences and instrumentation, throws them in a blender, and then strains pure sound through a shiv of focused melodic lines combined with poignant lyrics. Spread a healthy dose of harmonies on top and you've got a dynamic mix set to move your body and engage your mind. This 5 piece ensemble consists of 4 guys, a girl, guitars, bass, drums, keyboard, trumpet, trombone, violin, harmonica, accordion, clarinet, tambourine.......who knows what else.
