Larry Cooper

Larry Cooper is an American Singer-Songwriter and Composer currently based in Reno, NV. Recently, a backing band was formed featuring Adam Springob (The Kanes) on drums and Chad Burns on bass. The group performs and produces under their working name Larry Cooper, as they primarily play an eclectic assortment of songs based on Cooper's original material. Larry was born in Prescott, AZ and got his start as a working musician in Phoenix where he'd begun producing a weekly Youtube show entitled "Cover of the Week" or "COTW", becoming involved with a couple bands and trying to establish himself in the city's immense local scene. Cooper moved to Reno in August of 2012, finishing and releasing his first self-produced album in September of that year and quickly began booking, promoting, and building his own act playing acoustic songs primarily from the Self-Titled E.P. The album itself was written and recorded with full accompaniment and thus it was often said the performance was lacking the "full force" heard on the E.P. He met Springob on the Reno Circuit soon after his arrival, forming a friendship months before they formed their band. The idea was conceived when Cooper began putting the word out about starting a band. Springob suggested the two friends work together on Cooper's original material. The two were later joined by Chad Burns when they began seeking a Keyboardist and Bass Player for their band. Larry Cooper, along with Chad Burns and Adam Springob can currently be seen playing in Reno and it's surrounding cities. They plan to release a new album and begin touring within the first year of their conception.
