Jovanna Melendez is my name,but it's Jovie for short. Born in the 90s, and raised in the concrete jungle called New York!!For anyone that knows me,they know that I live and breathe R&B music. I am a young artist with a passion for what I do and when music speaks to me......I answer. I’ve been singing for as far back as I can remember. From my first talent show in the 3rd grade, singing Celion Dions "My Heart Will Go On", to my adventures in the Bronx with the St. Philip Neri Choir. Not only did singing fill my heart but it also helped me realize that it was what GOD put me here to do ♥ Just like any other artist, music is what makes them feel alive. & that's exactly what it does for me. I hope to fill the ears and hold the hearts of others with my rhythms, beats and words. So what have I been up to?? Right now, I am currently working on a mixtape self titled Jovanna -- “A Little Bit of Everything”. This is to show the world who I am and what I’m about when it comes to my music. I've definitely been branching out and working with different producers, as well as artists, so that when my project is actually completed, it'll have an all around universal sound. For the people who've been behind me from the beginning, I'm glad you're still here with me. & for those who've just heard about me, WELCOME. What i have for you is just a piece of what is to come.
