Bio: Hailing from sunny San Diego, Jet West launched their live music career in the fall of 2009 as an independent, Rock/Reggae band and hasn’t slowed down since. “After a couple years when Bend was getting regular visits from SoCal rock ’n’ reggae bands like Slightly Stoopid, Tomorrows Bad Seeds and Pepper, the island vibes have been relatively quiet recently. If you’re missing them, you should hit up Silver Moon Brewing & Taproom on Wednesday, where San Diego’s Jet West will play its first show in Bend (that we can remember). Per its bio, Jet West was formed in 2008 and is “inspired by great waves, strong drinks, and tan women." The band combines the rockabye rhythm of reggae with buzzy alt-rock and a vibrant horn section, and the result is laid back and ready to party.”

Q: Official Lyrics for Lights Out?
A: "I know I really shouldn’t but I’m going to anyways, pretend no consequence as I make my way up your legs. It’s the thrill that keeps me alive. Well buckle up real tight, we’re going on a ride. We’ll twist and turn, hold on and I’ll be your guide. No rollercoaster compares to this. The lights go out Then suddenly we shine The lights go out Then suddenly we shine Well take off all your clothes and then I’ll throw you to the ground. I push you to the floor, the chills from head to toe are profound, the energy electrifies. Well now the world is gone and all that’s left is us. No cares, no worries or concerns to discuss. Everything, everything will be alright. The lights go out Then suddenly we shine The lights go out The suddenly we shine The lights go out then suddenly we shine, The lights go out and then suddenly we shine"
