Jesse Boleyn is an American song-writer, recording artist, producer and author, best known for his surrealistic music/noir approach to song-crafting, eclipsing lyrical depth with eclectic composition in stark regard. The singer-songwriter's dedication to his craft has been a 35 year long work in progress, all the while surviving as an Indie artist without any major label support, performing in over 17 countries and having composed and published over 150 songs. Legendary David Bowie and Lou Reed guitarist, and 6 time Emmy Award nominee Chuck Hammer, who appears extensively on Boleyn's discography from early Santa Barbara recordings to New York, L.A. and the legendary Hansa Tonstudio in Berlin offers this insight... Boleyn got the gig, the first to do so in 13 years, and his national debut was October 12th, 1979 at the Strand Theater in Rochester, N.Y. In Sep, 2010, Jesse and Shawn celebrated their 2nd - 15 year anniversary reunion concert at the famous Triple Door, Seattle's best live venue for entertainment. As an author Jesse has published two novels with Abernathy & Smyth Publishing House under the name J.R. Boleyn, Far Way to Even in 2006, and The Temple of Transparent Walls in 2018.
