Jaide is a 23 year old emcee/singer based in Edmonton, Canada. This young songstress with all sass and class has created an uproar with her high-energy hip hop performances, chilling vocals and hard hitting lyricism. With unique style and soulful presence, this woman is an all encompassing talent that can't be ignored. Recent performances have had her open for names like Swollen Members, The Outlawz, Tech N9ne and other various artists, including headlining many of her own shows across Canada. She has been featured in articles internationally on popular newspapers, blogs & magazines, talking about everything from turning down a Californian based subsidiary label under Universal/Bunglao to stay independent, to predispositions she faces as a female in the hip hop industry and her in depth work with charity events. In the last 3 years of performing, this miss has gone from playing around for fun to really growing into an image of pride and empowerment with a message she believes in, speaking at collages for non-traditional career paths, to teaching up and coming emcees through highschool programs and more. Consistently striving to be better at her craft and demonstrate her skills as an artist both vocally and lyrically, she is currently working on a new EP to showcase just this. In this short time, Jaide has imprinted her foot as a force to be reckoned with. With anticipation for this release,Jaide posted video for the single "Officially Gone Nuts," featuring Sonik. - Brand new video just dropped "This Flame", a vocal remix using a beat from the Bad Meets Evil album.
