Jade Flores

My name is Jade, I'm 16 yrs old, a native Texan, born in Dallas and raised in Red Oak. I'm a singer/songwriter/Performer/National Anthem singer. I have been singing ever since I was very young and my dream is to become a professional performer. My goal is not to be famous or rich, my goal is to be an inspiration, an entertainer and make people happy and feel good. I really can’t express in words how passionate I am about being an artist and letting the world know that. Accomplishments: 2nd place winner for Lake Cities Idol-$500.00 prize, First place winner in my age group for the Texas Wildflower Budding contest in Richardson ,TX - Received a Trophy and to perform for the Eisemann Center for the performing Arts , I made the cover page of the Red Oak Now magazine in the Nov. 2011 issue in my hometown.; Grand prize winner for the Rural American Idol in Point, TX for 2011 - $1100.00 and two trophy’s ; Received 3 awards at Maxi-Media Studios: The Golden Mic Award; Best Live Performance; and Best Original song; I was selected as one of the 8 contestants for the 2010 Colgate Country Show down hosted by Chris Summers/99.5 the wolf Radio Station. I’m still a running contestant for the 2012 Texas Star talent Competition in Dallas, TX which will be televised in the near future. Experience: • Vocal lessons with Destiny’s Voice Studios, since 2009 to present • Original song writing classes at Destiny Voice Studio and interacting with songwriters in Nashville via Skype (Belmont Connections) • I’ve attended a 3 week success series in music, pertaining to how to launch my career in the music industry. Classes covered social media; how to launch your career as an independent artist; and Stage Presence • Performed a duet with Dion Pride, son of the legendary country singer Charley Pride. • Performed and won the Grand Prize of Rural American Idol in Point, TX • 2010 Colgate Country Showdown hosted by Chris Summers/99.5 the wolf radio station • 2010 Producers and Performers camp at Maxi Media Studios. At the studio I had the privilege to learn about the music and entertainment industry from start to finish. At the end of our week we recorded a song of our choice and an original group song. I co-wrote our group song, recorded and produced it. • Auditioned for the Johnnie High show on April 9, 2011 and was recently selected to perform on their show • Summer of 2011, I performed at Six Flags the (Live & Local) show, I did 3x 30 min. sets throughout the day.
