Sarah Wild

Sarah Wild, formerly Sarah Vitort, is a Portland native singer songwriter and self-dubbed "superhero in training". Fiery, free spirited, and fun-loving, she aims to inspire and empower people to live authentically and to embrace their own wild sides. As superheroes do, she strives to find the balance between the dark and the light, always aiming to be a creature of love, but not fearing her inner darkness, which is reflected in her work. Her songwriting represents both her deep spiritual beliefs and lighthearted carefree lifestyle alike, and her personal style reflects her love for classic DC Comics characters and badass female vigilantes. Sarah released her first album "Wild Heart, Gypsy Soul" under her given name, Sarah Vitort. The album was written largely during an extended excursion in South America, where she began getting in touch with her true nature as a musician and as an embodiment of what she calls the "wild feminine." Upon returning, she committed to continue living a life of freedom, adventure, spiritual practice, and spontaneity. She is currently working on her next EP, "Villain" as Sarah Wild, with producer Jeanot Lewis-Rolland and bandmates Everett Carlson (Tommy TuTone), Aron Schur (Sell the Farm) and Mathieu Lewis-Rolland (A Happy Death, Glassbones). With "Villain" her once country-pop style gets an edgy makeover, weaving in elements of classic rock, blues, and even punk styles. Sarah is currently performing around the Portland metro area.
