Hyper Planet

We are a Progressive Metal band called: Hyper Planet from Tehran-Iran. Hyper Planet are Amin Saffar plays E-Guitar and Armin Saffar plays Bass Guitar, we are both brother and have grown up in a musician family. We started to play Persian music since we were kid Amin started to play “Persian Santoor” and Armin Started to play Tombak (Traditional instruments) But we shifted our instruments at the age of Amin 17 and Armin 16 to E-guitar and Bass guitar. Right now, Our new album is in Progressive Metal genre and “Beyond The Laniakea” is one of them which we submitted for the Sixth Dimension contest but not to mention; we haven’t released the album yet! As for the song, We’d like to mention about it in a more details. Lanaikea is the observable universe estimated to be home two trillions galaxies so we inspired by this and thought this could be a really great seed for us to write a song about it, and at the end of the day, we came up with this idea to explore it through our instruments to be an instrumental song. In Hyper Planet we’d love to mention more about deeper and more serious topics and lyrics related to human being, life, and also supernatural stuff! In this song we wanted to show that how much life is getting expanded through the universe, even much more bigger than we expected before and giving listeners to have a experience of life beyond this life if they are overwhelmed, In addition; illumination of the multifarious stories which are happening “Beyond The Lanaikea” in where our galaxy is just a small part in the corner of it and putting them in a place for a few moments to think a little bit more about it and also the whole life, as well ! For the time being, We have 2 projects first one is “Hyper Planet” which is included of my brother and I And it’s over 75 mins Proggy music that we wrote together. The second one is a project called “Blasting The Wine” which is a combination of western and eastern music. In this project our father Ali Saffar who plays “Persian Santoor” and “Qanun” has joined us to bring the feel ,taste, and sense of Persian music into the Progressive rock/Metal, so; As for this project we have released 9 snippets up to now and also still working on this. Talking about inspiration, we love music, movies, reading books. We inspire inwardly and outwardly from our surroundings and the important, pivotal matters which could impact on our life. We always love to push forward ourselves as a person and play better, write better, act better, always have an attitude to moving forward not being lazy, and doing everything as best as we can every level. We’d love to surround ourselves with people that have the same philosophy.
